| Z
PURLINS :
Z Purlins are most
unique cold roll formed section used to fix roof
and side claddings. The advantage
of using Z purlins is unlimited depth and thickness
option which gives the designer the required freedom
to design most economical purlin.
The higher Zxx value gives more stability in lateral
direction and thus minimizes saving.
Designer can select different thickness Z purlins
with similar depth for the same structure, which
ensures overall economy for the structure. Sleeved
Purlin system ensures continuity and rigidty to
the structure. |
|
With the use of properly designed Z purlins, one
can save upto 40% of steel to be used in construction
as compared to conventional system of using Hot
rolled purlin or Hot rolled angles or tubes.
With additional attachment we can do concealed
wiring for services which improves aesthetic value
of the structure. If proper planning is done,
provision can be made for hanging tightfitting
from Z purlins.

CEE
PURLINS (LIPPED CHANNELS) :
'CEE' Purlins can be used in
place of Z purlins or conventional hot rolled
C Channel or IS angles or tubes for fixing roof
or side cladding.
This new time saving bridging system with a comprehensive
range of accesories available provides a complete,
easily erected system. This system provides effiecient
light weight, economical roofing and cladding
supports for framed structures.
Cee Purlins are supplied ready for erection and
once erected, requires minimal maintainance throughout
the life of the building. |

'C'
CHANNEL (UNLIPPED CHANNEL) :
C Channel can be used as columns and
rafters when welded together in a box form or
welded together back to back to form an 1 beam.
This channels can also be used as short struts,
tie beams for rafters and columns or compression
and tension members in structures. C Channels
can be used as a ring beam in place of plinth
beam to hold the concrete on the floor and to
hold concrete on roof decking.

UNEQUAL
CHANNELS :
Unequal channels
can be used for designing
special purpose structures where it is difficult
to design the joints. Unequal channels are also
used to compensate eccentric movements generated
during designing of complicated structures. Unequal
Channels can be supplied from 5Omm depth to 50Omm
depth in thickness of 1.6mm to 7mm |

ANGLES
(PLAIN OR LIPPED)
Angles (plain or lipped) are used to
fabricate triangular columns or built up purlins.
This angles can be effectively used as compression
or tension member, where the loads are moderate
and usage of channels & lipped channels become
uneconomical. Unequal angle can be used used to
compensate the effect of shear lag in tension
members. Unequal angles can be supplied from height
ranging from 3Omm to 75mm and thickness of 1.6m
6mm. We can supply angles of 60'and 90'also.

TOP
HAT SECTIONS :
Top
hat sections can be used as lattice joist,
griders and studs in building construction. Top
hat sections are compact and well stiffened. Top
hat sections are most suitable to be used as secondary
frame members where roof tiles are being used
as roof. Top hat sections can be supplied in width
of 38mm to 10Omm, thickness ranging from 1.6mnl
to 3.15mm and depth ranging from 38mm to 75mm.

NOTE
»
C Channels (unlipped channel), Unequal channels,
angles (plain or lipped) and top hat sections
are accurately roll formed from high strength
graded steel (IS 5986 FE 410) thereby ensuring
high standards of IS 811, IS 875 and sp (6) (specifications
for cold roll formed steel structures).
The minimum yield strength of steel used will
be 320 Mpa which enables the designer to design
light weight systems.
C Chanels, unequal channels, angles and top hat
sections can be supplied in plain condition. They
can be supplied in galvanized condition and Rustcon
coated condition for areas which sign highly polluted
or near to coastal areas. This roll formed sections
can be supplied with two coat of red oxide primer
or finished coating of synthetic enamel or epoxy
based paints.
